Targeted introductions, not a feed

Boba Connects is not a directory you swipe through. Once a week we hand pick a single person for you to meet over boba. To do it, our AI reads what you told us about yourself and who you are hoping to meet, builds a quiet understanding of your professional world, and looks for the person whose goals line up with yours. You never see scores or percentages. You see a warm note on why the two of you should meet.

The things you mark as private are used only to find you a better match. They are never shown to anyone you meet.

Boba points

The more you show up, the more boba points you earn:

• +3 for every boba chat you and your match both confirm
• +2 for extra when you meet in person and add a photo together
• +5 for every boba event you attend
• +1 for every friend you refer who joins

Boba tiers

Your points add up to a boba tier, shown on your card so people know you are a real regular:

• 🧋 First sip, 0 to 2 points
• 🧋🧋 Boba inductee, 3 to 14 points
• 🧋🧋🧋 Boba enthusiast, 15 to 49 points
• 🧋🧋🧋🧋 Boba devotee, 50 to 99 points
• 🧋🧋🧋🧋🧋 Boba legend, 100+ points

Keeping it fair

Points are awarded only when both of you confirm the boba chat, so both people have to show up. The in-person bonus needs a quick photo of the two of you together, which doubles as a keepsake. They are a measure of how active and reliable you are in the community, never a ranking of how good a person you are.
